With a collective expertise of 100 years in the Indian equity market, Lashit Sanghvi, Ashwin Kedia, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and Hiren Ved founded Alchemy Capital Management in 1999.
Alchemy has grown in repute over the last 19 years and is currently one of the largest Portfolio Management Services (PMS) provider in the country, having lent their advice and investment skills to 1 billion USD (as on 30 Sep 2021) worth of group assets.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala – Co-Founder (Non-Executive) – An experienced, longstanding investor in the Indian capital markets. Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has made all his wealth by investing and trading in the Indian markets for over 30 years. While he is not involved in the day-to-day functioning of the firm, his mentorship and guidance has helped the group develop its consistent ethos and performance.
Ashwin Kedia – Co-Founder (Non-Executive) – He possesses over 25 years of comprehensive equity market experience. His key strengths are stock picking and developing corporate relationships. Ashwin has also featured on CNBC’s ‘’Wizards of Dalal Street- Gen Next’, a series on the most successful young investors in India.
Hiren Ved – Co-Founder and Whole-Time Director – Mr. Hiren Ved is the Co-founder, Director, CEO and CIO at Alchemy Capital Management. He started his equity market career in 1991 and worked on both sell side and buy side research roles for the first nine years of his career, before joining Alchemy to spearhead the firms Asset management business in the year 2000. Hiren has deep knowledge across sectors and is known for his bottom up research and stock picking skills. He has built a long-term track record of generating significant alpha over the last 19 years. Managing / advising funds worth 1 billion USD (as on 30 Sep 2021) across domestic and offshore mandates for Alchemy.
Lashit Sanghvi – Co-Founder (Non – Executive) – Mr. Lashit Sanghvi has over two decades of experience and has been featured in CNBC’s “Wizards of Dalal Street”, as one of India’s successful investors. Besides public equities, his area of expertise also involves development of systems critical for running a high-performance investment management business.
